Eternal Rival
Feat
Effect: Should the target of your Rivalry ability somehow survive the encounter, your Rivalry effect is not dismissed. Should you meet the creature again, it will have the same Rivalry as it did when it escaped the encounter. Choose an ability at Fighter Level 4 or lower. So long as your Rival is not present in the encounter, you may use and upgrade this ability as you see fit.

Effect: Friendship on the battlefield is common enough to you, though many just call you overly emotional. Should your Rival die to a creature other than you, you gain a number of actions equal to your Rivalry, at least two of which have to be spent on a Melee Weapon Ability including the killer as one of its targets. You gain a bonus to all attacks against the creature's killer equal to your Rival's Rivalry at its time of death. This effect does not vanish at the end of an encounter. This effect is not additive, if, by some twist of fate the killer kills your new Rival.

Requires: Cut Down in his Prime
Effect: In battle, two warriors find friendship over clashing steel. Should both your Rivalry and the Rivalry of your Rival exceed 10, your attack bonuses vanish, and you gain a bonus to your Armor score equal to your Rival's Rivalry instead, and your Rival gains an Armor bonus equal to your Rivalry. This Armor protects only against attacks from your Rival, and your Rival's Armor only protects it from attacks from you. Your Armor bonus will return to being an attack bonus when there are no creatures other than you and your Rival within 5 squares of either of you.
